What you can expect to see this FRI-YAY at our Ren Market Redo! We've got the North Okanagan Fellowship of Swordfighting cominng to do a Historical European Martial Arts Demo from 7pm - 8pm AND a costume contest at 6pm hosted by Prince Pavlov, with first and second place winning CASH prizes!!

We're heading down to the park soon, the skies are a little clearer (not a lot, but it should be a 7 not a 10 tonite for the air quality).... And we'll be in the park from 5 to 8 to hang out!

We're moving ahead with tonight's market, but due to the current air quality, we've shortened our hours to 5–8 PM.

If you're able, we'd love for you to come out and support our amazing local artisan vendors. We've also got a battle of the bands with the public art gallery, it should be a great night.

We went through something like this 5 years ago, and we know that everyone in town displaced from their homes could use something good to do tonite.

We're hopeful conditions will improve, but please use your best judgment, follow all air quality advisories and health guidance, and take any precautions you need.

Stay safe, and we'll see you if you can make it out. 💛

We are so sad to do this, but after waiting and watching many sources for the air quality index, we are going to cancel tonight's market. There is a good chance that it could clear up but out of an abundance of caution for our vendors, performers, and all attendees, we are going to take this FRI-YAY off! That's right, the Vernon Jazz Club is coming back this FRI-YAY for night of jammin'!They'll host a jazz jam starting at 5:30 p.m. in the band shell, where their house band will start things off with a few tunes followed by jammers joining the house band on stage. Players and vocalists of all ages and abilities are welcome to join in - fake books of jazz standards in all keys will be provided. There will be a sign up sheet for jammers on the table under the Jazz Club tent. See you there!
