Weekends start with Friyays! It's a new slogan we're trying out, what do you think?

Tonite at the park we're also trying out a new collaboration, the Vernon Jazz Club (one of only 3 dedicated Jazz clubs in BC) is coming to host a Jazz Jam and all musicians and singers are welcome to come join. It kicks off at 530 if you're interested. After the Karaoke market last year, I realized we have a lot of hidden talent in this community... so I can't wait to see what happens tonite.

Then tomorrow, we're at the Vernon Prestige Hotel (across from London Drugs) for the Good Lemonade Day Market in support of JoeAnna's House in Kelowna. We've already raised $300 for the cause, and there will be a pretty darn good prize package being raffled off at the event tomorrow... We're bringing out our great vendors, and Bourbon Street will have a special menu for the day... as well as music from 5 to 7. So come stop in for dinner, check out the vendors and support a good cause (if you're not familiar, JoeAnna's House helps to house out of town folks during treatment in Kelowna, so thats us up here).

And in case you hadn't heard, next week.... chicken market, including baby chicks, is back! This might be the 5th year.
