Hey lovely market-supporters! I'm excited to tell you about the upcoming Christmas events we have been working so hard on! One of our goals here at the Polson Artisan Market is to make sure we push ourselves to make amazing events unlike any others in the North Okanagan, and I think this holiday season we're really knocking it out of the park! (Get it, cause we're not in our usual park for them either... terrible joke).
We've got three upcoming events:
Predator Ridge: Toy Box Circus
Nov 25 | 4 to 7 pm
A semi-indoor/outdoor, euro-inspired christmas market, including roving performers and stiltwalkers from Kinshira (see photo, I've been dying to get these folks included in one of our events, they're outstanding). There will be skating, firepits, games and Seaton High School will have a choir of around 40 performing carols; we'll have 2 food trucks, 50 vendors, and Predator Ridge will be including a glass of wine with the $15 entrance fee.
Annual Silverstar Lightup
Dec 10| 3 to 7 pm
For the first time since the pandemic started, Silverstar Resort will be hosting fireworks as part of their annual lightup. Kinshira will be at this event as well (so excited!) and will be featuring their fire-performers. There will be a ton to see and do, and eat, so come up for dinner and the market, and the fireworks start at 7pm.
Village Green: Mall I want for Christmas is You!
Thursday to Sunday | Nov 24 to Dec 18| Matching mall hours
Every Thursday through Sunday we'll have an ever-changing selection of 6 local vendors daily, featuring their artisan goods almost in the center of the mall.
We're very excited to help bridge the gap between our vendors and the hard-working folks in this town who don't often get the time to come enjoy our events, but might rely on our local mall for their Christmas shopping this holiday season.
