It's Movie Night People!

It's movie night again, year 5! We did a vote online and George of the Jungle pulled away from the pack and took an impressive lead, winning 43 to 27 over Toy Story (the original), with Mario 2 and Space Jam showing up with 13 votes each... So we're doing it! And apparently Brendan Fraser is in the middle of a comeback himself, with the Mummy 4 in the works. So it's probably time to teach the younger generation about this gem of a human.

So the market starts tonite at 4, movie starts at 730, and we've got dinner covered and a bunch of snacks to pick from as well as a great lineup of local artisan vendors!

We couldn't do the market without our vendors, but the movie as well, we couldn't do without the support of Tourism Vernon and MLA Harwinder Sandhu. So thank you so much for the support!

MLA Sandhu will be in the park handing out free popcorn tonite with the Towne Theatre, they've got something like 400 bags to give away. It will be a bit chillier tonite than usual for this time of year, so it's a great night for a hoodie, a picnic blanket or chair, and maybe even a bonus blankie for that extra cozy feeling. It's going to be a magical night! The good thing about clouds is we won't have to struggle to see the first 20 mins of the movie like every other year lol.
