It's the Renaissance Market Tonite!

So we've got 2 weeks left in the park before we move to Civic Memorial (the new park by the double traffic circle) for the rest of the season. We've been told the construction ends this year, then we're free to be in the park without condition next year. The events we've been doing for 5 years now (yeah crazy eh!) have resulted in more attention towards the bandshell too, so it got a nice facelift this year, and hopefully we can work on a plan with the city to get a nice renovation done in the coming years.

So tonite.... hear ye, hear ye, hark! The 3rd Annual Renaissance Market will commence at 4 o'clock, and will feature performers, sword fighters, fencers, and prizes for costumes and participation! Bringest your fine garb, toy swords and false-horses welcome! All princes, princesses, vikings, hobbits, dwarves, knights and others will be rewarded for their participation!

I also want to tell you about next week, our last week in the park. We had an event planned last month with the City of Vernon to feature the park and the naturalization project in 'Party for the Park' but we got rained out and had to cancel .... we're bringing it back! They've got bouncy castles, a great lineup of music, and a ton of stuff happening all over the park. Here's the facebook event for more info.

So every friday can be a Fri-yay, just come hang out in the park, bring your friends, and I'll have dinner and entertainment available for you :)
